ช้างออกด้านบ้านวังเชื่อม

วันที่ 27 ธันวาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ได้รับแจ้งว่ามีช้างออกมายังไร่ของนางเมตตา ชาวบ้านบ้านวังเชื่อมที่มีไร่อยู่ติดกับแนวเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาใกล้ที่ทำการเขตฯ โดยมีอ้อยและกล้วยเสียหายเล็กน้อย โดยเป็นช้างวัยรุ่นที่ออกมา เนื่องจากมีเท้าหน้ากว้างประมาณ 13 นิ้ว

On December 27, 2024, our Lopburi field staff were notified that an elephant had come out into the farm of Mrs. Metta, a villager in Ban Wang Chueam, whose farm is adjacent to the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary office. There was some damage to sugarcane and bananas. It was a young elephant that had come out because its front feet were about 13 inches wide.
