ช้างออกฝั่งตะวันออกของป่าซับลังกา

วันที่ 10 มกราคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรีและเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยหนองใหญ่ ได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้าน นางจารุวรรณ บ้านดินเก่า หมู่10 ตำบลบ้านไร่ อ.เทพสถิต จ.ชัยภูมิ ว่ามีช้างมากินมันสำปะหลังประมาณ 2 งาน และ กล้วย 6 กอจากการสำรวจรอยช้างและความเสียหาย พบว่ามีหลายตัว โดยในช่วงกลางคืนเจ้าหน้าที่จะไปเฝ้าระวังให้ชาวบ้าน

On January 10, 2025, our Lopburi field staff  and forest rangers from the Nong Yai Unit were notified by a villager, Mrs. Charuwan Ban Din Kao, Village No. 10, Ban Rai Subdistrict, Thep Sathit District, Chaiyaphum Province, that elephants had eaten approximately 2 ngan of cassava and 6 clumps of bananas. From surveying the elephant tracks and damage, it was found that there were many elephants. During the night, the staff will go to keep watch for the villagers.
