ช้างโขลงพรธิตา

คืนวันที่ 9 พฤษภาคม 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ และเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยสะไบนาง ซึ่งดูแลประจำด้านเขารวก (ตะวันตก) ได้รับแจ้งว่ามีช้างออกมากินมะม่วงด้านอำเภอศรีเทพ จังหวัดเพชรบูรณ์ ต่อมาคืนวันที่ 10 ช้างได้ย้ายมาทางด้านดงตะเคียนลงมาทางด้านวังเชื่อม โดยทางเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาได้ใช้โดรนช่วยในการตรวจหา พบว่าช้างจะข้ามถนน ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่ชาวบ้านกำลังใช้เส้นทางพอดี จึงต้องกักรถไว้ก่อน จนกระทั่งช้างเดินข้ามไปจึงปล่อยรถผ่าน

On the night of May 9, 2026, field staff from the foundation and forest rangers from the Sabai Nang unit, stationed in the Khao Ruak (western) area, were notified that elephants had come out to eat mangoes in the Sri Thep district of Phetchabun province. Later, on the night of May 10, the elephants moved towards Ban Dong Takian area and then down towards Ban Wang Chueam. The Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary used a drone to help locate them and found that the elephants were about to cross the road, which was being used by villagers. Therefore, vehicles were stopped until the elephants had crossed before being allowed to pass.

 

ช้างกลุ่มพังเปิ้ลมาด้านหนองใหญ่

คืนวันที่ 9 พฤษภาคม 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามประจำหน่วยหนองใหญ่ ได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านโนนสวรรค์อ.เทพสถิต จ.ชัยภูมิ ว่าพบช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ จึงออกติดตามพร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยหนองใหญ่ของเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา เจ้าหน้าที่ได้ผลักดันเป็นเวลานานกว่าช้างจะกลับเข้าป่า และในวันรุ่งขึ้น ขณะที่ได้ซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้าแบบพอเพียง โดยได้ค้างคืนเพื่อเฝ้าระวังช้างไปด้วย มีชาวบ้านบ้านเทพพนา ได้แจ้งว่ามีได้ยินเสียงช้างร้อง จึงเข้าตรวจสอบพร้อมผลักดันให้เข้าป่าแล้ว

On the night of May 9, 2026, field staff from the Nong Yai unit received a report from villagers in Non Sawan, Thep Sathit District, Chaiyaphum Province, that an elephant had strayed outside the forest area. Field staff from the foundation, along with forest rangers from the Nong Yai unit of the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, went to track the elephant. It took a considerable amount of time for the elephant to return to the forest. The following day, while repairing a makeshift electric fence and staying overnight to monitor for elephants, villagers from Thep Phana reported hearing elephant cries. Upon investigation, the elephant was guided back into the forest.

 

วางแผนการทำงานร่วมกัน

วันที่ 7 พฤษภาคม 2569 เครือข่ายเฝ้าระวังช้างป่าทางด้านตะวันตกของป่าซับลังกา ได้จัดประชุมการดำเนินการด้านเฝ้าระวังและผลักดันช้างร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าและเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ 

On May 7, 2026, the wild elephant monitoring network in the western part of the Saplangka Forest held a meeting on monitoring and deterring elephants with forest rangers and our field staff. 

 

ดูแลรั้วไฟฟ้า

เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ หน่วยต้นน้ำได้ตัดหญ้าตามแนวรั้วไฟฟ้า พร้อมตรวจเช็ครั้วไฟฟ้าด้านทิศตะวันตกช่วงตู้ที่ 6 พบว่าเครื่องควบคุม(สีแดง)เสียจึงได้นำเครื่องที่ไม่ได้ใช้มาเปลี่ยนทดแทน 

Our field staff from the upstream unit of the foundation cut the grass along the electric fence and checked the electric fence on the western side near box number 6. They found that the control unit (red) was faulty and replaced it with an unused one.

 

มอบน้ำดื่ม

เครือข่ายเฝ้าระวังช้างป่าได้มอบน้ำดื่มให้กับเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าและเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ที่ได้ออกติดตาม เฝ้าระวังและผลักดันช้าง มิให้ออกไปยังพื้นที่ทำการเกษตรของชาวบ้าน

The wild elephant monitoring network provided drinking water to forest rangers and our field staff  who were tracking, monitoring, and driving elephants away from villagers' agricultural areas.

 

สีดอสุทัศน์

คืนวันที่ 27 เมษายน 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ร่วมกับเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ได้เฝ้าระวังช้าง โดยใช้โดรนตรวจลาดตระเวน พบว่าสีดอสุทัศน์ได้ออกมาที่ไร่ป้าเมตตาบ้านวังเชื่อม จึงช่วยกันผลักดันให้กลับเข้าป่า

On the night of April 27, 2026,our Lopburi field staff , along with Suplangka Wildlife Sanctuary, were monitoring elephants using a drone for reconnaissance. They discovered that Sidor Suthat had come out to Aunt Metta's farm in Wang Chueam village then the staff helped to guide him back into the forest.

เฝ้าระวังช้าง

ช่วงวันที่ 24 -27 เมษายน 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้ออกตรวจเฝ้าระวังช้างให้กับชาวบ้านที่มีพื้นที่ทำการเกษตรใกล้ชายป่าติดเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ทางด้านทิศเหนือและทิศตะวันตก เนื่องจากได้รับแจ้งว่ามีช้างออกมาทางด้านนี้ โดยได้ร่วมเฝ้าระวังร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าและเครือข่ายเฝ้าระวังช้างป่า

From April 24-27, 2026, our Lopburi field staff conducted elephant monitoring for villagers with agricultural land near the forest edge bordering the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, both to the north and west, following reports of elephants venturing out of these areas. They worked in conjunction with forest rangers and the wild elephant monitoring network.

 

 

ความร่วมมือจากเจ้าหน้าที่ไฟป่าแม่สะป๊วด จ.ลำพูน

 เมื่อวันที่ 24 เมษายน 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้รรับเเจ้งจากเจ้าหน้าที่ไฟป่าแม่สะป๊วด เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าดอยผาเมือง ว่ามีกลุ่มช้าง จำนวน 3 ตัว ได้แก่พังดอกรัก พังวาเลนไทน์ พังทับเสลา เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้ผลักดันช้างทั้ง 3 ตัว มายังลำห้วยหลักแล้ว ผลักดันเข้าไปจนถึงบริเวณห้วยไคร้ จากนั้นเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้ค้างคืนเพื่แเฝ้าระวังช้างอีก 1  คืน

On April 24, 2026, our Lampang field staff  were notified by forest fire officials in the Doi Pha Mueang Wildlife Sanctuary that a group of three elephants, namely Pang Dok Rak, Pang Valentine, and Pang Thap Salao, were present. The foundation's field staff guided the three elephants towards the main stream and then further into the Huai Krai area. The field staff then stayed overnight to monitor the elephants.
