Check dam or "Fhai Meaow" is constructed across the Lamsonthi creek. ฝายกั้นน้ำหรือฝายแม้วสร้างขึ้นบริเวณต้นน้ำลำสนธิ
When we arrive the Lamsonthi creek, Huai Hong Krai team members have already started to build a check dam or "fhai maeow" from natural nearby materials such as bamboo, branches, logs, dirt and stones. เมื่อพวกเรามาถึงที่ลำสนธิ เจ้าหน้าที่จากห้วยฮ่องไคร้ได้สร้างฝายกั้นน้ำที่ทำจากวัสดุธรรมชาติ เช่น กิ่งไม้ ท่อนซุงและก้อนหิน

Elephant Dung

Long-term observations will be made and recorded to determine the types of vegetation that are grown from elephant dung. Elephant Dung

Elephant dung will be collected from various locations visited by the elephant and placed upon the corresponding cleared out plot. The research is to determine what plants will grow from the elephant dung and if it corresponds to the plants the elephant ate in that particular location. มูลช้างจะถูกเก็บสะสมไว้จากหลายพื้นที่เพื่อนำมูลช้างเหล่านี้เพิ่มความสมดุลในพื้นที่โครงการช้างปลูกป่า
