แม่บุญแก้ว

แม่บุญแก้วและพลายบุญอยู่ไม่ยอมกลับเข้าป่า เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามพยายามผลักดันไม่ให้แม่บุญแก้วออกไปไกลกว่าที่เคยไป ระหว่าง ต.ยางสาว จนถึง ต.น้ำร้อน อ.วิเชียรบุรี ที่มีเนื่อที่ติดกัน เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้เข้าไปพูดคุยกับชาวบ้านที่ทำไร่บริเวณนั้น ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่มักจะเข้าใจและเห็นใจช้างแม่ลูก

Pang Mae Boon Kaew and Plai Boon Yu refused to return to the forest. Field staffs tried to prevent Mae Boon Kaew from going further than she had already done, between Yang Sao Subdistrict and Nam Ron Subdistrict in Wichian Buri District, which are adjacent areas. Field staffs spoke with local farmers in the area, most of whom understood and sympathized with Pang Mea Boonkeaw and her son.

 

งานภาคสนาม

วันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำที่ทำการเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ได้แก้ไขรั้วไฟฟ้าที่ขวางทางแนวกันไฟ โดยทำประตูรั้วเปิดปิด เพื่อให้สามารถผ่านไปได้ และได้โรยปูนซีเมนต์ เพื่อกันน้ำซึมที่บ่อด้านหลังศูนย์ความรู้ช้างฯ

On February 20, 2026, our Lopburi field staff from the  stationed at the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary office modified the electric fence that was obstructing the firebreak by installing a gate to allow passage and spread cement to prevent water seepage at the pond behind the Elephant Knowledge Center.

 

ช้างออกที่ด้านวิเชียรบุรี

คืนวันที่ 18-19 กุมภาพันธ์ เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามหน่วยต้นน้ำ พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่า และเครือข่ายเฝ้าระวังช้างป่า ได้ช่วยกันเฝ้าระวัง ช่วงบ้านดงตะเคียน ต.บ่อรัง และ ต.น้ำร้อน อ.วิเชียรบุรี ซึ่งช่วงนี้มี ช้างออก 2 กลุ่มคือ พังแม่บุญแก้ว ที่ไม่ยอมกลับเข้าป่า และกลุ่มพังพรธิตา ที่มักออกมาหากินริมขอบป่าด้านนี้ ซึ่งไม่ค่อยมีความเสียหายมากนัก

On the night of February 18-19, our field staffs from the upstream unit, along with forest rangers and the wild elephant monitoring network, monitored the area around Ban Dong Takian, Tambon Bor Rang and Tambon Nam Ron, Wichian Buri District. During this time, two groups of elephants were seen roaming the area: Pang Mae Boonkeaw, who refused to return to the forest, and Pang Phon Thita, who often forages along the forest edge in this area. 

ซ่อมบำรุงอุปกรณ์รั้วไฟฟ้าแบบพอเพียง

วันที่ 18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ หน่วยหนองใหญ่ ได้ซ่อมแซมเปลี่ยนสายไฟของชุดอุปกรณ์โซล่าเซลล์ ทำให้กลับมาใช้งานได้ดังเดิม

On February 18, 2026,our field staff from the Nong Yai unit repaired and replaced the wiring of the solar panel equipment, restoring it to its original working condition.

 

โขลงช้างออกต.บ่อรัง วิเชียรบุรี

 วันที่ 18 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เข้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้รายงานว่ามีโขลงช้างออกที่บ้านบ่อแร่ ต.บ่อรัง อ.วิเชียรบุรี ซึ่งช้างได้กินต้นกล้วยของชาวบ้านระหว่างทาง และมาหาน้ำกินที่บ่อของชาวบ้าน

On February 18, 2026,our field staff reported that a herd of elephants had emerged from Ban Bo Rae, Bo Rang Subdistrict, Wichian Buri District. The elephants ate banana trees belonging to villagers along the way and came to drink water at a villager's pond.

ซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้าด้านปางกระจา(ทิศตะวันตกเฉียงเหนือ)

วันที่ 17 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ หน่วยต้นน้ำได้ซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้าด้านปางกระจา ช่วงตู้ไฟที่ 2-3 ที่ช้างได้ทำพังเสียหาย โดยได้เปลี่ยนเสาที่หัก แล้วดึงเส้นลวดใหม่

On February 17, 2026, field staff from the foundation's upstream unit repaired the electric fence at Pang Kracha, specifically at electrical boxes 2-3, which had been damaged by elephants. They replaced the broken posts and installed new wire.

 

ช้างออกที่วิเชียรบุรี

วันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ได้เฝ้าระวังช้างด้านตะวันตก คือ ช่วง ต.บ่อรัง อ.วิเชียรบุรี จ.เพชรบูรณ์ (บ้านดงตะเคียน-สำนักสงฆ์เขาสามเกลอ-บ้านถ้ำมงคลชัย) เนื่องจาก โขลงช้างเคยมาและได้มาหาน้ำกินบริเวณนี้ 

On February 16, 2026,our Lopburi  field staff monitored elephants in the western area, specifically in the area of Bo Rang Subdistrict, Wichian Buri District, Phetchabun Province (Ban Dong Takian - Khao Sam Kloe Buddhist Monastery - Ban Tham Mongkhonchai), as herds of elephants had previously visited this area in search of water.

 

ติดตามช้างภูพาน

วันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดสกลนคร ได้ติดตามช้างพังบัวแก้วและพังนกแล พบว่ามีร่องรอยที่พระพุทธบาทน้ำทิพย์ และลำน้ำพุง

On February 16, 2026,our field staff  in Sakon Nakhon province tracked the female elephants Pang Buakaew and Noklae and found traces of them at Phra Phutthabat Namthip and the Phung Creek.

 

พังแม่บุญแก้วไม่ยอมเข้าป่า

เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้รายงานว่าได้พยายามผลักดันให้พังแม่บุญแก้วกลับเข้าป่า ซึ่งพังแม่บุญแก้วและลูกยังคงอยู่นอกป่าที่ไร่ของชาวบ้านเนื่องจากเกรงกลัวพลายฉลาดทำร้าย แต่เจ้าของไร่อนุญาตให้ช้างอยู่ในไร่ได้เนื่องจาก ไม่มีพืชไร่อะไรที่จะเสียหาย

Our field staffs reported that they attempted to push Mae Boon Kaew, the elephant back into the forest. However, Mae Boon Kaew and her calf remained outside the forest at a villager's farm because they feared being attacked by Plai Chalard. The farm owner allowed the elephants to stay in the field as there was no damage to the crops.
