Today we decide to visit with Plai Chumpol, whom we haven't seen in a while. We ask him to show us something and he uses his trunk and tusks to extract a wild banana tree. Then he eats it with relish. Afterwards he sprays a lot of water from his trunk. We didn't take that photo because we were protecting our camera from geting wet. Plai Chumpol was demonstrating that he was able to extract all that water from the banana tree. During the drought the elephants can rely on water in plants.
