พลายฉลาดหนีเที่ยว

วันที่ 10 ธันวาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี และเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยต้นน้ำได้รับแจ้งว่ามีช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ด้านทิศเหนือไปทางสวนยางพาราของชาวบ้าน ฝั่งอ.ภักดีชุมพล เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้ร่วมกันออกสำรวจตามแนวรั้วไฟฟ้าด้านทิศเหนือ พบว่ามีรอยช้าง คือพลายฉลาดได้ล้มต้นไม้มาพาดสายรั้วไฟฟ้าเพื่อต้องการจะออกนอกพื้นที่ หลังจากนั้นได้มีรอยกลับเข้าป่าไป เจ้าหน้าที่จึงช่วยกันตัดต้นไม้และซ่อมแซมรั้วจนแล้วเสร็จ

On December 10, 2024, our Lopburi field staff and the forest rangers of the upstream unit were notified that an elephant had left the area to the north towards a villager's rubber plantation in Phakdi Chumphon District. The staffs therefore jointly surveyed along the electric fence to the north and found traces of an elephant, meaning that Plai Chalad had push a tree and placed it across the electric fence wires in order to leave the area. After that, there were traces of the elephant returning to the forest. The staffs therefore worked together to cut down the trees and repair the fence until it was completed.
