ช้างออกฝั่งเขาพังเหย

วันที่ 20 ธันวาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี และเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยหนองใหญ่ ได้รับแจ้งว่ามีช้างออกมายังไร่ของชาวบ้านฝั่งบ้านสะพานหินได้กินกล้วยและมะพร้าว จึงเข้าสำรวจพื้นที่ พบว่าเป็นกลุ่มพังจารุณี หลังจากนั้นช้างได้มายังบ้านเหวนางคำ  ในช่วงค่ำเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงเข้าพบชาวบ้านเพื่อดำเนินการเรื่องความเสียหาย

On December 20, 2024, our Lopburi field staff and forest rangers from Nong Yai Unit were notified that elephants had come out into the fields of villagers on the Saphan Hin side to eat bananas and coconuts. They therefore went to inspect the area and found that it was a group of Pang Jarumee. After that, the elephants came to Ban Huai Nang Kham. In the evening, field staffs met with the villagers to make a report of the damage.
