วันช้างไทย 2569

วันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2569 ซึ่งตรงกับวันช้างไทย มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ร่วมกับเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา จ.ลพบุรี ได้จัดกิจกรรมภายใต้โครงการ "ช้างไทย ช้างป่า ช้างซับลังกา ช้างคู่แผ่นดิน" โดยมีหน่วยงานและชาวบ้านรอบพื้นที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา รวมทั้งประชาชนที่มีความสนใจเข้าร่วมงาน ภายในกิจกรรม ได้จัดให้มีการสร้างโป่งเทียม ปลูกต้นไม้ และให้อาหารช้างที่จัดเตรียมไว้และชาวบ้านร่วมบริจาค เพื่อสร้างความตะหนักรู้ ปลูกฝังความรักธรรมชาติแก่ชุมชนและเยาวชนรอบป่าซับลังกา

On March 13, 2026, coinciding with Thai Elephant Day, the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation with the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary organized activities under the project "Thai Elephants, Wild Elephants, Sublangka Elephants, Elephants of the Land." Various agencies and villagers from around the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, as well as interested members of the public, participated in the event. Activities included creating artificial salt licks, planting trees, and feeding elephants with prepared food and donations from the villagers. The aim was to raise awareness and instill a love of nature in the communities and youth surrounding the Sublangka forest.
