ออกลาดตะเวนเส้นแนวรั้วไฟฟ้าบ้านโครกกรวด

วันที่ 8 ตุลาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี  ได้ออกลาดตะเวนตามแนวรั้วไฟฟ้าเขารวก (รั้วไฟฟ้าถาวรด้านตะวันตกของป่าซับลังกา ยาว 14 กม. มีตู้ควบคุมไฟ 7 ตู้ ) ที่บ้านโครกกรวดถึงบ้านซับยางต.ยาวสาว อ.วิเชียรบุรี จ.เพชรบูรณ์ ตู้ที่1-2 ไฟใช้ได้ปกติ และช่วงเมื่อคืนพบช้างงา 1 ตัว อายุช่วงวัยรุ่นเดินตามแนวรั้วไฟฟ้ากำลังหาทางออกนอกพื้นที่ เจ้าหน้าที่จึงจุดลูกบอลประทัดสกัดตามแนวรั้วไฟฟ้าช้างจึงกลับเข้าป่า ขณะนี้ช้างยังอยู่บริเวณระหว่างตู้ไฟ 1-2-3 ถึงบ้านซับยาง เจ้าหน้าที่ยังอยู่เฝ้าระวังต่อ โดยไม่พบทรัพย์สินของชาวบ้านเสียหาย

On October 8, 2024, our Lopburi field staff patrolled along the Khao Ruak electric fence (a permanent electric fence on the western side of the Sublangka forest, 14 km long, with 7 control boxes) from Ban Khok Kruat to Ban Sap Yang, Tambon Yaow Sao, Amphoe Wichian Buri, Phetchabun Province. Boxes 1-2 had electricity working normally. Last night, they found a teenage elephant walking along the electric fence and looking for a way out of the area. The staff lit firecrackers along the electric fence to stop the elephant to return to the forest. Currently, the elephant is still in the area between boxes 1-2-3 to Ban Sap Yang. The staff are still monitoring the area and have not found any damage to villagers’ properties.
