วันที่ 6 เมษายน 2565 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ และเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยต้นน้ำพบช้างสีดอสุทัศน์ กำลังจีบช้างพังตัวหนึ่งอยู่ เมื่อเห็นรถเจ้าหน้าที่จึงหลบเข้าป่าไป
