ติดตามร่องรอยช้างภายหลังได้รับแจ้งพบเห็นช้างใกล้ศูนย์วิจัยฯ

วันที่ 22 มิถุนายน 2569 ภายหลังได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านว่าพบเห็นช้างบริเวณสะพาน 2 ใกล้ศูนย์วิจัยฯ
เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้เข้าตรวจสอบพื้นที่ดังกล่าว พบเพียงร่องรอยช้างเก่าที่คาดว่าเกิดขึ้นเมื่อประมาณ 3–4 วันก่อน และไม่พบตัวช้างในพื้นที่ คาดว่าช้างได้เคลื่อนย้ายข้ามแนวเขาไปทางพื้นที่แม่ป๋อนแล้ว

On June 22, 2026, following reports from villagers regarding a sighting of an elephant near Bridge 2, close to the research center, our field staff inspected the area. They found only old traces of the elephant estimated to be three to four days old. It is believed that the elephant has moved across the mountain ridge toward the Mae Pon area.
