ตั้งแต่เดือนตุลาคม 2567 มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ จังหวัดลำปางได้ส่งเจ้าหน้าที่เฝ้าระวังช้างอออกนอกพื้นที่ บริเวณจุดสกัดแม่เลียงพัฒนา เนื่องจากเข้าสู่ฤดูเก็บเกี่ยวผลผลิตการเกษตรแล้ว
Since October 2024, Elephant Reintroduction Foundation at Lampang Province has sent field staffs to monitor elephants outside at the Mae Liang Phatthana checkpoint area because it is the agricultural harvest season.
วันที่ 10 ตุลาคม 2567 กลางดึก เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ พบสีดอโอเลี้ยงแอบออกจากป่ามาบริเวณแม่ป๋อน แคมป์ 1 โดยหลังพบ เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้ดูแลไว้ก่อนจะนำกลับเข้าป่าอีกครั้ง
On October 10, 2024, in the middle of the night, the foundation's field staff found Sidor O-leang sneaking out of the forest to Mae Pon Camp 1. After finding him, the staff took care of him before bringing him back into the forest again.
เมื่อวันที่ 7 - 9 ตุลาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลำปาง ได้ส่งสีดอโอเลี้ยงเข้าป่า บริเวณลำห้วยผาคอกช้าง ซึ่งเป็นลำน้ำสาขาแม่ยาว หลังออกมาเที่ยวข้างนอก
On October 7-9, 2024, the foundation's field staffs in Lampang Province sent Sidor O-leang into the forest near the Pha Khok Chang Stream, a tributary of the Mae Yao River, after he had gone outside the forest.
วันที่ 22 ตุลาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติภาคสนามลพบุรีและ ชุดสายตรวจ เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ได้ร่วมกันเฝ้าระวังช้างออก และติดไฟตามด่านที่ช้างออก ที่ไร่นางเมตตา ช่วงเช้าตรวจดูร่องรอยตามขอบสวนไร่ ไม่มีรอยช้างออกมา เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้ตรวจตามแนวรั้วฝั่งตะวันตก พบรอยช้างเดินตามแนวรั้ว และยังไม่เข้าภายในรั้วไฟฟ้า วันนี้เจ้าหน้าที่จึงจะเฝ้าระวังและผลักดันต่อไป
On October 22, 2024,our field staff of Lopburi Province and the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary patrol unit worked together to watch out for elephants leaving and installed lights at the checkpoints where elephants exited at Mrs. Metta Farm. In the morning, they checked the traces along the edges of the orchard and found no traces of elephants leaving. the staff therefore checked along the western fence and found traces of elephants walking along the fence and had not entered the electric fence. Today, officers will continue to watch out and push them.
วันที่ 15 ตุลาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติภาคสนามลพบุรีแคมป์ต้นน้ำ ได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านโครกกรวดว่าพบรอยช้างลงมากินข้าวโพด เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงออกลาดตระเวนนอนเฝ้าระวังและเช็คไฟฟ้าตู้1-2 ไฟใช้ได้ปกติ พบรอยช้างระหว่างแนวรั้วไฟฟ้าหอ7ช้างเดินตามแนวกลับขึ้นไปทางหอ7 เป็นรอยช่วง1-2วัน ที่แล้ว และเมื่อคืนไม่พบช้างลงมาและสำรวจความเสียหายไม่เสียหายไม่มากและได้พูดคุยกับชาวบ้าน
On October 15, 2024, our field staff of Lopburi Province, Ton Nam Camp, were notified by villagers of Khok Kruat that elephant tracks had been found eating corn. The staff went out to patrol, sleep, and watch, and checked the electricity in boxes 1-2. The electricity was working normally. They found elephant tracks between the electric fence of Tower 7. The elephants had walked along the electric fence line back up to Tower 7. There were tracks for the past 1-2 days. Last night, no elephants were found coming down. They inspected the damage and found that it was not too bad. They talked to the villagers.
วันที่ 14 ตุลาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูนิธิฯประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี แคมป์หนองใหญ่ ได้พบ ช้างสีดอโดเรม่อนระหว่างลาดตระเวนตามรั้วไฟฟ้าด้านเขาพังเหย โดยช้างหากินอยู่ข้างในแนวรั้วไฟฟ้า เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงได้ไล่ต้อนให้ลงเขาเข้าป่าลึกบริเวณช่องตะเคียนแล้ว
On October 14, 2024, our field staffs of the Lopburi Province, Nong Yai Camp, found an elephant named Doraemon while patrolling along the electric fence on the Phang Heiw Mountain side. The elephant was walking inside the electric fence. Field staff chased the elephant down the mountain into the deep forest near the Takhian Canal.

On October 14, 2024, our field staff of Lopburi Province, Nong Yai Camp, patrolled the electric fence from Ban Thepna to the end of the electric fence at the airport . They found that the electric fence was working normally.
วันที่ 10 ตุลาคม 2567 หลังจากที่เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ประจำลพบุรี ได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านว่าพบช้างจำนวน 1 ตัว เดินอยู่ในป่าอ้อย จึงรีบออกติดตามช้างแต่ไม่พบ จากการสำรวจร่องรอยพบรอยเท้าช้างเดินลัดเลาะตามแนวรั้วไฟฟ้า เพื่อกินอ้อยที่ชาวบ้านได้ปลูกไว้ และได้เดินวนกลับเข้ารั้วเองเรียบร้อยแล้ว สันนิษฐานจากรอยเท้าช้างคาดว่า น่าจะเป็นพลายสุทัศน์
On October 10, 2024, after our field staff in Lopburi Province were notified by villagers that they had found an elephant walking in a sugarcane field, they rushed to follow the elephant but could not find it. From examining the traces, they found footprints of the elephant walking along the electric fence to eat sugarcane that the villagers had planted and the elephant had already circled back into the fence by itself. It is assumed from the footprints that it is likely to be Plai Suthat.

On October 7, 2024, the foundation's field staffs, who were tasked with tracking the free roam elephants, took Sidor O-leang into the deep forest to release him again to prevent the elephants from leaving the area.
