Plai Sumet is growing up but Pang Sawang still takes care him, They live at Huynachangpae Creek. พังสว่าง คอยดูแลพลายสุเมธอยู่ใกล้ๆ บริเวณลำห้วยนาช้างแพ้ ขณะนี้พลายสุเมธกำลังจะโตเป็นหนุ่ม
Our elephants: Pang Nongnuch and Pang Namfon live at Maekeang Creek which they have a lot of foods. พังนงนุช และพังน้ำฝน ใช้ชีวิตอยู่ในป่าบริเวณลำห้วยแม่เกี๋ยง ในช่วงนี้อาหารอุดมสมบูรณ์

Sut-Pandin Overlooking Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary

หลังจากที่ติดตามพบช้างแล้วเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้พยายามนำช้างกลับพื้นที่ป่าซับลังกาแต่ด้วยเวลาเย็นมากแล้วจึงไม่สามารถนำช้างกลับป่าซับลังกาได้ทัน เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงได้ดูแลช้างไว้บริเวณพื้นที่แปลงปลูกป่าของเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังที่ติดกับพื้นที่ชาวบ้าน เพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้เกิดความเสียหายกับพืชผลของชาวบ้านเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงต้องค้างแรมเฝ้าดูช้าง ก่อนที่นำกลับในวันถัดมา

Our elephants (Pang Dao, Pang Duern, Pang Narak and Seedor Doremon) escape from Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary to farmer's field at Ban Non Sawan near Pa Hinngam National Park. Some crops were damaged during the way they have passed. พังเดือน พังดาว พังน่ารักและสีดอโดเรมอน หนีออกจากป่าขึ้นมาเที่ยวที่พื้นที่ชาวบ้าน บ้านโนนสวรรค์บนเทือกเขาพังเหยใกล้กับอุทยานแห่งชาติป่าหินงาม(ทุ่งดอกกระเจียว) โดยเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนาม แกะรอยตามพบที่บริเวณป่ากล้วยของนายมีนา อุ่นอก ซึ่งในระหว่างเส้นทางที่เดินออกไปนั้นได้ผ่านไร่ข้าวโพดและมันสำปะหลังของชาวบ้านไป

Field Staff Track the Elephants into Chaiyaphoom's Pha Hin Ngam

We were reported that our elephants had gone to the crop field at Pangheuy mountain at July 31, 2010. Our field staff are tracking elephants on their trails. เมื่อวันที่ 31 กรกฎาคม 2553 ได้รับแจ้งจากเจ้าหน้าที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาว่าเจ้าหน้าที่จากอุทยานแห่งชาติป่าหินงามส่งวิทยุสื่อสารแจ้งว่ามีช้างขึ้นไปบนแนวเทือกเขาพังเหยอยู่ในพื้นที่ไร่ข้าวโพดของชาวบ้านจำนวน 6 ตัว ทางมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติจึงได้จัดส่งเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามออกติดตามและพบช้างเพียง ๔ ตัว คือ พังเดือน พังดาว พังน่ารักและสีดอโดเรมอน : ในภาพเป็นการติดตามช้างโดยวิธีแกะรอยเท้าของช้างของเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจังหวัดลพบุรี

Wild and Captive Elephants are Friends

Our field staff found a group of elephants in Phu Phan National Park: Pang Baukeaw (wild elephant), Pang Deejai, Pang Noklea, Pang Buangern and Pang Ploy. หลังจากใช้อุปกรณ์ติดตามช้างได้ไม่นานก็พบกลุ่มช้างอยู่ด้วยกัน คือ พังบัวแก้ว(ช้างป่า) พังดีใจ พังนกแล พังบัวเงินและพังพลอย

The foresters (tracking elephant team) use radio tracking to track elephants. เจ้าหน้าที่ชุดติดตามช้างอุทยานแห่งชาติภูพานใช้อุปกรณ์ติดตามช้างหาสัญญาณจากปลอกคอที่ติดกับตัวช้าง

What the Elephants Plant in the Forest

Our field staff at Sakon Nakorn Substation found many plants are growing in elephant's dungs. เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจังหวัดสกลนครร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่ชุดติดตามช้างอุทยานแห่งชาติภูพาน จังหวัดสกลนคร เข้าติดตามพฤติกรรมช้างในป่าภูพานพบกับมูลช้างที่มีพืชขึ้น ซึ่งแสดงให้เห็นว่าช้างเป็นผู้ช่วยกระจายพันธุ์พืชให้ทั่วป่าหรือเรียกกันว่า "ช้างปลูกป่า"

Mae Yao Reservoir - Lampang

Water in Mae Yao Reservoir was drained for farming therefore the level of water is very low at this time .
