Our group of elephants : Pang Shara, PangPansa, Seedor Sombat,Pang Phetchara and Plai Boriboon have a lot of food while rehabilitate in the electric fence area.

หลังจากที่ช่วงนี้ฝนตกชุก ทำให้มีอาหารสำหรับช้างเพียงพอภายในบริเวณรั้วไฟฟ้า เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงปล่อยให้พังซาร่า พังพรรษา สีดอสมบัติ พังเพชรา และพลายบริบูรณ์อยู่ในบริเวณรั้วไฟฟ้าเพื่อปรับพฤติกรรมต่อ ดูช้างก็มีความสุขมากเช่นกันที่สามารถเดินเล่นอยู่ในบริเวณรั้วไฟฟ้า

City elephants enjoy a guided return to nature in Lampang

"Elephants are ethical animals, second only to human beings in this regard. Returning as many domesticated elephants as this to their natural habitat will not only be considered a great act of mercy but will also help rehabilitate the wildlife population and contribute to the better balance of nature. This will prove to the world that we, Thais, do care and are capable of conserving the forest as well as preserving our wild life in a sustainable manner."

The foundation gave a check to Khun Supood Sharangam, the elephant owner after Khun Supood had sent Pang Narak to Sublangka, Lopburi on May 8, 2008. .คุณศุทธินี พินิจ ผู้ช่วยผู้จัดการมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ มอบเช็คให้คุณสุพจน์ ศาลางาม เจ้าของช้างชื่อ "พังน่ารัก" หลังจากนำช้างมาส่งที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา จังหวัดลพบุรี เมื่อวันที่ 8 พ.ค. 2551

ก้าวแรกของพังน่ารัก ที่ย่างเข้าสู่ป่าซับลังกา โดยมีเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามและช้างเจ้าบ้านให้การต้อนรับพังน่ารักอย่างอบอุ่น

After we had brought Pang Phetchara and Plai Boriboon lived with other elephants in the electric fence area, Pang Pansa, Pang Shara and Seedor Sombat introduced themself by using body language to two new elephants .Now our elephants make a group and their mother take care for babies such as they help young elephant to pull the vine at the tree.

หลังจากนำพังเพชราและพลายบริบูรณ์เข้าไปปล่อยไว้ในรั้วไฟฟ้าได้ไม่นาน ก็ได้พบกับพังซาร่า พังพรรษา และสีดอสมบัติ ช้างทั้งห้าตัวใช้งวงดมกลิ่นไปรอบตัวของช้างแต่ละเชือก ส่งเสียงร้องเอียดๆ ช้างตัวเล็กก็เดินลอดใต้ลำคอของพังพรรษาและพังซาร่า ใช้งวงดมไปรอบๆ ช้างเข้ากันได้ดี จนในขณะนี้รวมกลุ่มกันอยู่ในรั้วไฟฟ้าไม่ยอมห่างกันเลย พังพรรษาและพังซาร่า จะคอยดึงเถาวัลย์ที่ติดอยู่ในต้นไม้ใหญ่มาให้ช้างตัวเล็กกิน

Our field staff is clearing the line of electric fence wire because of the grass is rapidly grow in the rainy time.

ช่วงนี้มีฝนตกชุก ทำให้ต้นไม้และต้นหญ้าขึ้นเร็วมาก เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนาม ลำปาง จึงช่วยกันถางหญ้า และทำความสะอาดพื้นที่รอบๆ รั้วไฟฟ้า เพื่อป้องกันไฟฟ้ารั่ว

Plai Phat (our bull elephant in lampang camp) has started getting in musth from April 29,2008 and now the musth fluid is flowing into his mouth but he is not aggressive. Our field staff takes care him closely near by Sha 2 .

พลายพัทธ์ เริ่มมีอาการตกมันตั้งแต่วันที่ 29 เมษายน 2551 ในขณะนั้นยังมีน้ำมันไหลเข้าปากอยู่ แต่ไม่แสดงอาการดุร้าย เจ้าหน้าที่ได้นำพลายพัทธ์ผูกไว้ใกล้ๆ กับสระ 2 และคอยดูพฤติกรรมอย่างใกล้ชิด

Khunying Wanna plays with Pang Narak which she bought for the elephant reintroduction program. คุณหญิงวรรณา สิริวัฒนภักดี กำลังหยอกล้อกับพังน่ารัก ช้างที่คุณหญิงซื้อเพื่อบริจาคให้กับโครงการคืนช้างสู่ป่าเฉลิมพระเกียรติ 80 พรรษา

Sivaporn brings Pang Narak to Khunying Wanna and Khun Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi's house so that they can admire Pang Narak before she goes to Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary. Khunying Wanna and her grandchildren feed Pang Narak, the three year old female baby elephant. คุณหญิงวรรณาและหลานๆ กำลังให้อาหารพังน่ารัก ช้างเพศเมียอายุ 3 ขวบ

The Pramondok of Wat Trimit accelerates towards completion under Khun Chaisak's close supervision. This is taken across from the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation's present offices at Yaowarad Place. We will be moving soon to a new location.

คุณจุฑามาศ กลั่นน้ำเค็ม (ผึ้ง) เข้าร่วมงานกับมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ สำนักงานใหญ่ กรุงเทพฯ ในวันที่ 6 พ.ค. นี้

Our field staff brought two female elephants: Pang Shara and Pang Pansa to be mother for Pang Phetchara and Plai Boriboon.They live together in the electric fence area.

เมื่อวันที่ 4 พฤษภาคม 2551 ทางมูลนิธิฯ ได้นำพังซาร่า พังพรรษา และสีดอสมบัติเข้าไปปล่อยในรั้วไฟฟ้า และวันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม 2551 ก็ได้นำพังเพชรา และพลายบริบูรณ์ เข้าไปปล่อยไว้ในรั้วไฟฟ้าเพื่อให้ช้างทั้งสองกลุ่มเป็นแม่รับคอยดูแลช้างตัวเล็กทั้งสองตัว

M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula visits the Foundation

M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula and family visit the Foundation at Camp1 and camp2, Lampang and meet his donated elephant: Seedor Phathorn. After that they visit our eletric fence, elephant's hospital and the cemetery. วันนี้ หม่อมราชวงศ์ปรีดิยาธร เทวกุล และครอบครัว ได้เดินทางเข้าเยี่ยมชมแคมป์ 1 และ แคมป์ 2 จังหวัดลำปาง โดยได้พบกับสีดอภาธร เป็นช้างที่หม่อมราชวงศ์ปรีดิยาธร เทวกุลได้บริจาคเงินเพื่อนำช้างสีดอภาธรเข้าสู่โครงการเพื่อปล่อยคืนสู่ธรรมชาติ จากนั้นก็ได้เยี่ยมชมรั้วไฟฟ้า โรงพยาบาลช้าง และสุสานช้าง ตามลำดับ

While our field staff, Lopburi tracking for elephants in the forest, they met an odd banana because it has two inflorescences of one banana's bunch. กล้วยป่ามี 2 ปลี ที่เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามถ่ายภาพมาให้ดูหลังจากที่เข้าไปติดตามพฤติกรรมของช้างในป่าซับลังกา

After heavy rain at the Sublangka wildlife Sanctuary, the water flows in Lamsonthi creek again. หลังจากที่มีฝนตกลงมาที่ซับลังกาทำให้มีน้ำไหลหลากลงมาจากต้นน้ำในลำสนธิเป็นจำนวนมาก

Plai Srisakron is happy with the fresh food after raining in the forest. พลายศรีสาครกำลังมีความสุขกับอาหารในป่าซับลังกาหลังจากที่มีฝนตกลงมาทำให้ความชุ่มชื้นกลับมาอีกครั้ง
