ช้างออกมาหาอาหารอร่อยและน้ำ

เวลาประมาณ 11.30 น.ของวันที่ 20 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านบ้านวังเชื่อม ว่าช้างได้ออกมากินอ้อยที่ติดขอบป่า  จากความเสียหายประมาณ 2 งาน พบว่าเป็นรอยของช้างวัยรุ่นจำนวน 1 ตัว หลังจากกินอ้อยได้เดินไปทางทิศตะวันตก ซึ่งเป็นคลองน้ำที่แห้งในหน้าแล้ง ห่างจากแนวเขตซับลังกา ประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตรเพื่อกลับเข้าป่า

At approximately 11:30 a.m. on February 20, 2025,our field staffs  were notified by villagers of Ban Wang Chueam that elephants had come out to eat sugarcane on the edge of the forest. From the damage of approximately 2 ngan, it was found that there were tracks from a teenage elephant. After eating the sugarcane, it walked to west, which was a dry canal in the dry season, approximately 2 kilometers from the Sublangka boundary, to return to the forest.
