The breeding plan of elephants in Doi Phamuang wildlife sanctuary should be performed. As the information from field staff, there are 2 males (Plai Pat and Plai Somnuek) and 4 females (Pung Sunee, Pung Nongnuch, Pung Teena, and Pung Tukta), which can be the breeding bulls and cows. We recommended that each bull should be introduced to cows to check the reproductive behavior and compatibility every 1-2 weeks for one hour each time. If any bull shows interesting signs (put trunk tip to genital organ) quite often, this bull and cow should be coupled to breed under the field staff observation until satisfactory, then they should be brought back to their group.
