เฝ้าระวังต่อเนื่องบ้านโครกกรวด

วันที่ 21 เมษายน 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ร่วมกับ เจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่า(เขารวก) ได้นอนเฝ้าระวังช้างป่าที่บ้านโครกรวด หมู่ที่ 13 ต.ยางสาว อ.วิเชียรบุรี จ.เพรชบูรณ์ เนื่องจากพื้นที่ไร่ของชาวบ้านกว้าง จึงแบ่งกันออกเฝ้าระวังนอนค้างตามจุด โดยเมื่อเวลาประมาณ 23:00 น. เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามขับมอเตอรไซต์วิ่งตรวจ พบช้างกำลังออกจากป่าพอดี จึงส่องไฟและจุดลูกบอลประทัด 2-3 นัด ช้างได้วิ่งกลับเข้าป่าขึ้นเขาไป โดยไม่พบว่ามีของชาวบ้านเสียหาย ในคืนนี้จะเฝ้าระวังอีกหนึ่งคืน

On April 21, 2024,our Lopburi field staff together with forest rangers (Khao Ruak) were stay over night and watching over wild elephants at Ban Kro Kruat, Village No. 13, Yang Sao Subdistrict, Wichian Buri District, Phetchabun Province, due to the villagers' field is wide so they divided up to watch and stay overnight at different points. At approximately 11:00 p.m., a field staff drove a motorcycle to inspect. Found an elephant coming out of the forest. So the staff lit a few firecracker balls. The elephant ran back into the forest and up the mountain. There was no damage found to the villagers' belongings. Tonight there will be another night of observation.
