เฝ้าระวังช้างบ้านวังเชื่อม

คืนวันที่ 19 มีนาคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ได้เฝ้าระวังช้างที่บ้านวังเชื่อมจุดที่ช้างมักออกมาคือที่ไร่ป้าเมตตา ซึ่งเวลาประมาณ 22.30 น. ช้างได้ออกมากินกล้วยตามที่คาดการณ์ไว้ จึงได้จุดประทัดผลักดันให้เข้าป่า และได้แบ่งกำลังไปเฝ้าที่จุดที่ช้างมักใช้เป็นประตูเข้าออก ในตอนเช้าได้ออกติดตามแกะรอยพร้อมทั้งได้ให้เจ้าหน้าที่ใหม่ทั้ง 4 คนได้เรียนรู้การปฏิบัติหน้าที่ภาคสนามจากรุ่นพี่ที่มีความชำนาญ

On the night of March 19, 2025, the foundation's field staffs in Lopburi Province were watching the elephants at Ban Wang Chueam, where the elephants often come out, which is at aunt Metta's farm. At approximately 10:30 p.m., the elephants came out to eat bananas. They lit firecrackers to push them back into the forest and divided their forces to guard the points where the elephants often use as entry and exit gates. In the morning, they went out to follow and track the elephants, and the four new staffs were given a knowledge in field duties from their experienced seniors.
