ขาประจำไร่ป้าเมตตา

วันที่ 19 มีนาคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ได้รับแจ้งจากป้าเมตตา ชาวบ้านบ้านวังเชื่อม ต.กุดตาเพชร จ.ลพบุรี ว่าช้างได้ออกมากินกล้วยเมื่อคืน เจ้าหน้าที่จึงเข้าสำรวจพื้นที่ พบว่า เป็นรอยช้างวัยรุ่นมาเพียงตัวเดียว ได้กินกล้วย อ้อย และได้ทำท่อน้ำแตกเสียหาย เจ้าหน้าที่ได้แกะรอยตามไป พบว่าช้างได้ไปทางป่าหลังบ้านพักเจ้าหน้าที่ของเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา และยังไม่ยอมกลับเข้ารั้ว

On March 19, 2025, the foundation's field staffs in Lopburi Province were notified by Aunt Metta, a villager in Ban Wang Chueam, Kut Ta Phet Subdistrict, Lopburi Province, that an elephant had come out to eat bananas last night. The staffs went to inspect the area and found tracks of a single elephant. It had eaten bananas and sugarcane and damaged water pipe. The staffs followed the tracks and found that the elephant had gone to the forest behind the house of an officer at the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary and had not yet returned to the fence.
