ประชุมเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามลพบุรี

วันที่ 29 กรกฎาคม 2568 มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ โดย ศาสตราจารย์ปฏิบัติ ดร.นายสัตวแพทย์ ฉัตรโชติ ทิตาราม กรรมการมูลนิธิฯ และคุณเปรมจิตร เหมวัฒน์ ผู้จัดการมูลนิธิฯ ได้ประชุมเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนาม ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี เพื่อรายงานความคืบหน้าการทำงานในพื้นที่ พร้อมทั้งแนวทางการแก้ไขปัญหา

On July 29, 2025, the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation, led by Professor Dr. Chatchot Thitararam, a Directors, and Mr. Premchit Hemwat, the Foundation's Manager, held a meeting with field staff in Lopburi Province to report on progress in the work in the area, along with guidelines for problem solving.

 

 

เฝ้าระวังช้างให้ชาวบ้าน

วันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ หน่วยต้นน้ำ ได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้าน ม. 13 บ้านลาด ต.เจาทอง อ.ภักดีชุมพล จ.ชัยภูมิ ว่ามีช้างออกมากินพืชไร่ของชาวบ้านเจ้าหน้าที่จึงเข้าตรวจสอบเป็นอ้อย ข้าวโพด และนาข้าวที่เสียหาย โดยที่เจ้าของไม่เรียกร้องความเสียหาย ซึ่งเจ้าหน้าที่จะจัดเวรเฝ้าระวังให้กับชาวบ้านในคืนนี้

On July 28, 2025, our field staffs from the Upstream Unit received a report from villagers in Village No. 13, Ban Lat, Chao Thong Subdistrict, Phakdi Chumphon District, Chaiyaphum Province, that elephants had come out to eat the villagers' crops. The staffs therefore went to inspect the damaged sugarcane, corn, and rice fields, with the owners not claiming any damages. Thestaffs will arrange for a watchful for the villagers this night.

ต้นไม้ล้มทับรั้วไฟฟ้าแบบพอเพียง

วันที่ 26 กรกฎาคม 2568 ได้รับแจ้งจากวัดเขาประตูชุมพล ว่ามีต้นไม้ล้มทับรั้วไฟฟ้าพอเพียง เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามและ เจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยพิทักษ์ป่าหนองใหญ่จึงช่วยกันตัดต้นไม้ออกและแก้ไขรั้วไฟฟ้าให้ใช้งานได้ตามปกติ

On July 26, 2025, we received a report from Khao Pratu Chumphon Temple that a tree had fallen on the sufficiency electric fence. Field staffs and Nong Yai Forest Protection Unit worked together to cut down the tree and repair the electric fence so that it could function normally.

 

ช่วยตามหาชาวบ้านหลงป่า

วันที่ 23 กรกฎาคม 2568 ผู้ใหญ่บ้าน บ้านซับพลู ต.วังทอง อ.ภักดีชุมพล จ.ชัยภูมิ ได้แจ้งว่า ชาวบ้าน 1 คน ได้หลงป่าขณะเข้าหาของป่า เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ หน่วยต้นน้ำ และเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยต้นน้ำ จึงได้ช่วยแกะรอยเพื่อตามหา 

On July 23, 2025, the village headman of Ban Sap Phlu, Wang Thong Subdistrict, Phakdi Chumphon District, Chaiyaphum Province, reported that one villager had gotten lost in the forest while searching for forest products. Field staff from the Foundation's Upstream Unit and Upstream Forest Protection Unit officers then helped track him down.

ปลูกต้นไม้เฉลิมพระเกียรติ

วันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2568 มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ร่วมกับเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ได้ร่วมกันปลูกต้นไม้ประดับในพื้นที่ เนื่องในโอกาสวันเฉลิมพระชนมพรรษา พระบาทสมเด็จพระวชิรเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว 

On July 28, 2025, the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation, together with the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, planted ornamental trees in the area on the occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua's birthday.

ติดตั้งแผ่นป้ายใหม่

วันที่ 21 กรกฎาคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ได้นำแผ่นป้ายแผ่นใหม่ ไปติดตั้งทดแทนแผ่นเดิมที่ช้างได้ทำพังเสียหายให้แก่สำนักสงฆ์จ้าวสามเกลอโดย เจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าจุดสะกัดสไบนางได้เข้าช่วยติดตั้งด้วย

On July 21, 2025, our Lopburi field staff brought new signs to replace the old ones that had been damaged by elephants at the Chao Sam Kloe Monastery. Forest rangers at the Sabai Nang checkpoint also assisted in installing them.

เร่งตามหาพลายสุเมธ

 วันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ เข้าติดตามพลายสุเมธต่อ หลังจากที่ช้างหลุดออกจากหลัก โดยมีทีมโรงพยาบาลช้าง ศูนย์อนุรักษ์ช้างไทย เข้าช่วยเหลือด้วย โดยเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้พยายามช่วยกันผูกพลายสุเมธอีกครั้ง

On July 16, 2025, our Lampang field staff  continued to track Plai Sumet after the elephant escaped from its tether. The team from the Elephant Hospital of the Thai Elephant Conservation Center also came to help. The field staff tried to tie Plai Sumet up again.

น้ำป่าท่วมแคมป์ 1 ลำปาง

 วันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ แคมป์ 1 แม่ปอน จ.ลำปาง ได้เเจ้งว่ามีฝนตกหนัก ทำให้น้ำป่าไหลหลากเข้าในที่พักเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ที่พักไม่เสียหายมากเนื่องจากเป็นที่พักยกพื้นสูง

On July 16, 2025,our field staff of Camp 1, Mae Pon, Lampang Province, reported that there was heavy rain, causing flash floods to flow into the Foundation field staff accommodation. The camp was not damaged much because it was raised accommodation.

พลายสุเมธหลุด

 เมื่อวันที่ 16 กรกฎาคม 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ เข้าติดตามช้างผูกปรับพฤติกรรม พบว่าพลายสุเมธหลุดจากหลัก เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯจึงได้เร่งตามหาพลายสุเมธใช้เวลาประมาณ 3 ชั่วโมง พบพลายสุเมธอยู่ในป่าลึกบริเวณลำห้วยแม่ยาว เนื่องจากเหตุการณ์นี้ค่อนข้างอันตรายจึงได้ประสานโรงพยาบาลช้าง ศูนย์อนุรักษ์ช้างไทย เพื่อเตรียมการจับเพื่อผูกเข้าหลักอีกครั้ง โดยการเดินทางไปยังที่จุดพลายสุเมธอยู่นั้นต้องใช้เวลาเดินทางค่อนข้างนาน เกรงว่าจะไปถึงจุดตอนค่ำและด้วยมีฝนตกหนักรวมถึงการเดินทางเข้าพื้นที่ที่ยากลำบากวันนี้จึงยังไม่สามารถเข้าจับพลายสุเมธได้

On July 16, 2015,our Lampang field staff tracked down a captive elephant and discovered that Plai Sumet had escaped from its tether. The team then expedited the search, lasting approximately three hours. They found Plai Sumet deep in the forest near Mae Yao Creek. Given the danger of the situation, they coordinated with the Elephant Hospital, Thai Elephant Conservation Center to prepare for his capture and subsequent tethering. The journey to Plai Sumet's location would require considerable time, fearing the elephant would arrive at night. Due to heavy rain and the difficulty of accessing the area, the capture of Plai Sumet was not possible today.
