ติดตามช้างประจำเดือนสิงหาคม 2567

เมื่อวันที่ 16-17 สิงหาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ติดตามช้างปล่อยอิสระในป่า เนื่องจากเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้รับเเจ้งจากประชาชนในพื้นที่ ว่ามีกลุ่มช้างเข้ามาใกล้รั้วไฟฟ้าริเวณ เขตหมู่บ้านแม่ผึ้ง จ.ลำปาง หลังได้รับแจ้งเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้เร่งออกติดตาม ไม่พบร่องรอยช้าง จึงได้ค้างคืนเพื่อเฝ้าระวังในพื้นที่

On August 16-17, 2024, the Foundation's field officers tracked the elephants that were free roam in the forest because the Foundation's field staff were notified by local residents that a group of elephants had come close to the electric fence in Mae Phueng village area, Lampang province. After receiving the notification, the Foundation's field staffs rushed to track them. They found no traces of the elephants, so they spent the night to keep watch in the area.
