พังพลอยไม่สบาย

วันที่ 6 สิงหาคม 2565 นายสมภาร ตาแก้ว เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามประจำจังหวัดสกลนคร(อุทยานแห่งชาติภูพาน) ได้แจ้งว่าพังพลอยได้ออกนอกพื้นที่เมื่อติดตามเจอตัวพบว่าช้างมีอาการไม่สบาย ปากพองเป็นฝ้า กินอาหารไม่ได้และอ่อนเพลียอย่างเห็นได้ชัด จึงได้แจ้งสัตวแพทย์ ซึ่งคุณหมอเพชรธิศักดิ์ สมบัติภูธรได้เข้าตรวจเช็คและให้ยาและให้น้ำเกลือ ทำให้พังพลอยมีอาการดีขึ้นแต่ยังน่าเป็นห่วงอยู่ ระหว่างนั้นเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้เฝ้าช้างและดูแลอย่างใกล้ชิด โดยในวันรุ่งขึ้นหลังจากพังพลอยมีอาการดีขึ้นเจ้าหน้าที่ได้พาช้างเดินกลับเข้าพื้นที่ในอุทยานฯ

On August 6, 2022, Mr.Somphan Takaew, our field staff in Sakon Nakhon Province (Phu Phan National Park), informed that Pang Ploy had left the area. When tracking the elephant he found that the elephant was not feeling well, blistered mouth, unable to eat and tired. Therefore informed the veterinarian, Mor Petchtisak Sombatphuthon,DVM to check and give medicine and saline. Pang Ploy's condition improved, but she was still worried. During that time, field staff watched the elephants and closely supervised her. The next day after Pang Ploy got better, the staff took the elephants back to the area in the national park.
