เสียหายที่บ้านน้ำอ้อม

เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำลพบุรี ได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านว่า เมื่อประมาณ 5 ทุ่มของวันที่ 4 ธ.ค.2561 มีช้างออกทางด้านหมู่บ้านน้ำอ้อม อ.วิเชียรบุรี จ.เพชรบูรณ์ จึงได้เดินทางไปพร้อมกับเจ้าหน้าที่ ขสป.ซับลังกา เพื่อตรวจสอบพบว่า มีหลายอย่างได้รับความเสียหาย อาทิเช่น กล้วย มะพร้าว ท่อน้ำปะปา โอ่ง และหลังคาโรงรถ จากการตรวจสอบพบร่องรอยคาดว่า น่าจะเป็นช้างกลุ่มพังหัวดี ซึ่งจะมีพังจารุณีและลูกๆ รวมถึงพลายฉลาดด้วย ซึ่งช้างกลุ่มนี้จะเป็นกลุ่มใหญ่มีประมาณ 10 กว่าตัว ซึ่งขณะที่เจ้าหน้าที่ลงพื้นที่ช้างเหล่านี้ได้กลับเข้าป่าไปเรียบร้อยแล้ว

Our Lopburi field staff was informed that the villager found elephants at Ban Namaom, Vichienburi District about 11.00 pm.,on December 4, 2018. The staffs with Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary's ranger checked the damage at that area, there were banana trees, coconut trees, pipe, big jar and garage's roof were damaged. From the trails, our staffs expected that they are Pang Huadee's group (such as Pang Jarunee and her children) around 10 elephants include Plai Chalard. When our staffs checked at the area, the elephants went back to the forest already.
