ติดตามช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ด้านทิศเหนือของซับลังกา

คืนวันที่ 23 กุมภาพันธ์ 2568 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรีได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้าน บ้านแจ้งตราด ต.บ้านเจียง อ.ภักดีชุมพล จ.ชัยภูมิ ว่ามีช้างมากินกล้วยที่ไร่ไป 2-3 ต้น เจ้าหน้าที่จึงเข้าตรวจสอบร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่่อุทยานแห่งชาติ เนื่องจากช้างออกมาไกล ซึ่งจากการตรวจสอบรอย พบว่า ช้างได้กลับเข้าพื้นที่ป่าแล้ว

On the night of February 23, 2025, the foundation's field staffs in Lopburi Province were notified by villagers in Ban Chaeng Trat, Ban Chiang Subdistrict, Phakdi Chumphon District, Chaiyaphum Province that an elephant had eaten 2-3 banana trees at their farm. The staffs therefore went to investigate together with national park rangers because the elephant had come a long way. From examining the tracks, it was found that the elephant had returned to the forest area.
