พังวาสนาเสียชีวิต

เมื่อวันที่ 16 มกราคม 2564 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้ไปรื้อถอนแคมป์1 ซับหวาย และได้กลิ่นเหม็น จึงตรวจสอบหาที่มาของกลิ่น พบว่าห่างจากแคมป์ไปประมาณ 100 เมตร พิกัด N 15.40.740 E 101.22.059 มีช้างเสียชีวิตมาแล้วประมาณ 5 วัน โดยจากการตรวจสอบเป็นพังวาสนา หลังจากแจ้งเรื่องต่อมูลนิธิฯสำนักงานกรุงเทพ วันต่อมา (วันที่ 17 มกราคม 2564) เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้นิมนต์พระมาทำพิธีทางศาสนา และขุดหลุมฝังพังวาสนา 

On January 16, 2021,our Lopburi field staff demolished Camp 1 (Sabwai) and smelled the bad smell. Therefore examining the source of the smell it was found that about 100 meters away from the camp at N 15.40.740 E 101.22.059, the elephant died about 5 days ago. After reporting to the Foundation Office (Bangkok) on January 17, 2021, the staff invited the monks to perform religious ceremonies and then dug a grave for Pang Wadsana.
