A team of researchers including Dr.Matthana Srikrajang, the specialist of wild elephant, the scientists from Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, and Dr.Nattar Maneewan, the vet of ERF, surveys and researches wild elephants at Kuiburi National Park on November 2nd-8th, 2009.เมื่อวันที่ 2-8 พฤศจิกายน 2552 ดร.มัทนา ศรีกระจ่าง นักวิทยาศาสตร์ชำนาญการพิเศษประจำกรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช และทีมนักวิจัย ได้เข้าศึกษาวิจัยและสำรวจช้างป่าในเขตพื้นที่อุทยานแห่งชาติกุยบุรี จ.ประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดย สพ.ญ.ณัฎฐา มณีวรรณ สัตวแพทย์ประจำมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ได้เข้าร่วมในการปฏิบัติงานในครั้งนี้ด้วย
