พบรอยช้างตัวผู้ออกบ้านน้ำลาด

วันที่  14 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี  แคมป์หนองใหญ่ได้รับแจ้งว่าช้างออกที่บ้านน้ำลาด ม.4 ต.นายางกลัด อ.เทพสถิต จ.ชัยภูมิ เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิฯ และ เจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยหนองใหญ่ ได้เข้าไปสำรวจพื้นที่เป็นรอยช้างตัวผู้ ออกมาตัวเดียว ซึ่งช้างได้ออกมากินกล้วยและถอนมันสัมปะหลัง และกลับเข้าป่าแล้วออกมาใหม่ โดยจากการตรวจสอบดูรอยช้างพบยังไม่กลับเข้าในรั้ว ยังอยู่ในป่าด้านนอกรั้วอยู่ จึงต้องมีการเฝ้าระวังในระยะนี้ 

On May 14, 2024, our field staff Lopburi Province Nong Yai Camp was informed that the elephants were out at Ban Nam Lad, Village No. 4, Na Yang Klad Subdistrict, Thep Sathit District, Chaiyaphum Province. Foundation staff and forest rangers at Nong Yai Unit Went to explore the area where there were tracks of a male elephant. The elephant came out alone to eat bananas and pluck cassava and returned to the forest and came out again. Inspecting the elephant's tracks, it was found that it had not yet returned to the fence and still in the forest outside the fence. Therefore, the staff must be careful monitoring during this period.
