เฝ้าระวังช้างออกบ้านน้ำลาด

วันที่ 20-21 พฤษภาคม 2567  เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี  แคมป์หนองใหญ่ได้รับแจ้งว่าช้างออกที่บ้านน้ำลาด เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงได้เข้าไปสำรวจดูรอยความเสียหาย เป็นรอยของวันก่อน เมื่อคืนนี้เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าเขตรักษาพันธ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาเข้าไปนอนเฝ้าระวังช้างตามจุดที่ช้างออก โดยพบว่าช้างได้ออกมาในระหว่างเฝ้าระวัง เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจึงได้ไล่ต้อนเข้าป่าทางด้านบ้านน้ำลาดแล้ว

During 20-21 May 2024 our field staff of Lopburi Province (Nong Yai Camp) was informed that the elephants had left Ban Nam Lat then the staff went to inspect the damage. It's a trace from the previous day. Last night, field staff together with forest rangers from Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary went to camp and monitor the elephants over night at the spots where they leave. It was found that the elephant had come out during the surveillance. The staff then fetched them into the forest on the Ban Nam Lat side.
