ติดตามช้าง

วันที่ 31 มกราคม 2566 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ออกสำรวจและติดตามกลุ่มช้างในป่าซับลังกา ได้พบกับช้างกลุ่มพังพังเดือน พังโดเรมี และลูกๆ มีสมาชิกประมาณ 7 ตัว ช่วงกิโลเมตร ที่ 17-18โดยสังเกตพบว่าพังเดือนกำลังตั้งท้อง  และได้พบกับช้างอีกกลุ่มที่บริเวณ สระ2 โดยเป็นกลุ่มช้างพังดอกขาว พังเปิ้ล และลูกๆ ปัจจุบันสภาพป่าซับลังกาเข้าสู่หน้าแล้ง น้ำในลำสนธิจึงมีเป็นแอ่งและในบางช่วงแห้งขอดแล้ว

On January 31, 2023, Foundation field staff explored and tracked a group of elephants in the sublangka forest, they met with a group of elephants, Pang Duern, Pang Doremi and their children, about 7 elephants, at km 17-18, noticed that Pang Duean was pregnant. And met another group of elephants at Pond 2, a group of Pang Dokkaw , Pang Ple and their children. At present, the Sublangka forest is in the dry season. So the water in Lam Sonthi Creek is a basin and in some area dried up.

เรียนรู้พฤติกรรมสีดอโอเลี้ยง

วันที่ 30 มกราคม 2566 นายสมคิด ผาติบุญมงคล เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ที่ติดตามดูแลโอเลี้ยงได้แนะนำเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ หน่วยแม่ป๋อน ผู้ที่จะคอยดูแลสีดอโอเลี้ยงต่อไปให้คุ้นเคยกับการเข้าหาช้าง รวมถึงนิสัยพฤติกรรม โดยคาดว่าจะผูกเลี้ยงสีดอโอเลี้ยงที่แคมป์1 (แม่ป๋อน) ประมาณ 3-4 วัน แล้วจึงย้ายไปผูกเลี้ยงปรับพฤติกรรมที่ แคมป์2 (หน่วยแม่ยาว)

On January 30, 2023, Mr. Somkid Phatibunmongkol, Foundation field staff of Lopburi Province who followed up Sidor O-liang instructed the Foundation's field staff, Mae Pon Unit, who will continue to take care of Sidor O-liang, to get used to approaching elephants. including behaviour.  It is expected that the elephant will be raised at Camp 1 (Mae Pon) for 3-4 days and then moved to raise  at Camp 2 (Mae Yao) .

 

ประชุมประจำเดือน

 วันที่ 29 มกราคม 2566 รศ.น.สพ.ดร.ฉัตรโชติ ทิตาราม,ผศ.น.สพ.ดร.เฉลิมชาติ สมเกิดและ น.สพ.ดร.ทวีโภค อังควานิช กรรมการมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ประสานงาน ได้จัดประชุมประจำเดือน ณ แคมป์ 1 แม่ปอน เพื่อวางแผนการทำงาน และได้เข้าดูสีดอโอเลี้ยงที่ได้ย้ายมาใหม่ โดยจะมีการเสริมอาหารได้แก่ กล้วย เนื่องจากอาหารในบริเวณผูกเลี้ยงปรับพฤติกรรมมีไม่เพียงพอ

On January 29, 2023 Assoc. Prof.Dr.Chatchote Thitaram DVM., Dr.Taweepoke Angkwanit DVM. Assist. Prof.Dr.Chaleamchat Somgird DVM. directors of The Foundation with coordination of Chaing Mai - Lampang office  have a meeting with field staffs about action plan and Sidor O-liang's caring.    

ร่วมทำบุญทอดผ้าป่าสามัคคี

วันที่ 27 มกราคม 2566 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ จ.ลำปาง ได้เข้าร่วมทำบุญผ้าป่าสามัคคี บูรณะศาลาบำเพ็ญกุศลและกุฏิที่พักสงฆ์ ณ วัดแม่สะแง๊ะ อ.แม่ทา จ.ลำพูน

On January 27, 2023, the field staff of the Foundation in Lampang Province participated in the merit making of the Pha Pha Pa Samakkee to restoration of the merit-making hall and monk's cell at Wat Mae Sa-Ngae, Mae Tha District, Lamphun Province.

คณะหอการค้าไทยเยี่ยมชมศูนย์ความรู้ฯ

วันที่ 28 มกราคม 2566 หัวหน้าเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา และมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ให้การต้อนรับคณะหอการค้าไทย ที่มาเยี่ยมชมเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา และส่วนจัดแสดงภายในศูนย์ความรู้ช้างฯ

On January 28, 2023, the head of Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary and the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation welcome the Thai Chamber of Commerce who come to visit Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary and the exhibits within the Elephant Knowledge Center.

ประชุมประจำเดือน และจัดเลี้ยงปีใหม่

วันที่ 27 มกราคม 2566 มูลนิธิฯ สำนักงานเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ประชุมประจำเดือนเพื่อสรุปความคืบหน้าในการดำเนินงาน พร้อมทั้งจัดงานเลี้ยงปีใหม่ ให้แก่เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนาม

On January 27, 2023, the Foundation of Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, Lopburi Province hold a monthly meeting to summarize the progress of operations. as well as organizing a New Year's party to field staff.

สีดอโอเลี้ยงย้ายบ้าน

วันที่ 28 มกราคม 2566 สีดอโอเลี้ยงเดินทางจากเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา จ.ลพบุรีถึงเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าดอยผาเมือง โดยมีเจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนาม สมคิด ผาติบุญมงคล เดินทางมาด้วย

เนื่องจากสีดอโอเลี้ยงเป็นช้างที่ยังต้องอาศัยการผูกเลี้ยงไม่สามารถปล่อยอิสระในป่าได้ ทางมูลนิธิฯ จึงจำเป็นต้องเคลื่อนย้ายสีดอโอเลี้ยงไปอยู่ที่สำนักงานเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าดอยผาเมือง จ.ลำปาง ซึ่งมีความพร้อมและความเหมาะสมในการจัดการช้างผูกเลี้ยง

On January 28, 2023, Sidor O-lieng translocate from Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, Lopburi Province to Doi Pha Mueang Wildlife Sanctuary with Lopburi field staff Mr.Somkid Phatibunmongkol traveling with him.

Since Sidor O-liang is an elephant that still needs to be tied up and cannot be released freely in the forest, the foundation therefore needs to move Sidor O-liang to Doi Pha Muang Wildlife Sanctuary, Lampang Province, where it is ready and suitable for managing rehabilitated elephants.

On January 27, 2023, Dr. Taveepoke Angkavanich,DVM, Director, together with Khun Premjit Hemmawat, Manager of The Foundation, presented baskets to Khun Apichart Sriya, Head of Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary on the occasion of the new year. 

 

นำส่งโครงกระดูกช้าง

คืนวันที่ 26 มกราคม 2566 เวลา 22.30 น. โครงกระดูกช้างพังบุญสม ได้ถึงเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา จ.ลพบุรี เพื่อนำมาจัดแสดงให้ความรู้ในโอกาสต่อไป

เคลื่อนย้ายโครงกระดูกพังบุญสมไปยังเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตวป่าซับลังกา

วันที่ 26 มกราคม 2566 มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ได้ทำการเคลื่อนย้ายโครงกระดูกพังบุญสม ที่จัดแสดงบริเวณพิพิธภัณฑ์กายวิภาคและพยาธิวิทยาทางสัตวแพทย์ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ ไปติดตั้ง ณ เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตวป่าซับลังกา จังหวัดลพบุรี เพื่อให้นักท่องเที่ยว นักเรียน นักศึกษา และประชาชนทั่วไป ได้เรียนรู้ศึกษาด้านโครงสร้างสรีระและเห็นคุณค่าของช้างป่า โดยการเคลื่อนย้ายได้รับความอนุเคราะห์รถบรรทุกขนย้ายจากสถาบันคชบาลแห่งชาติ ในพระอุปถัมภ์ฯ

On January 26, 2023, the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation moved Pang Boonsom's skeleton . displayed at the Museum of Veterinary Anatomy and Pathology Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Chiang Mai University to install at Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, Lopburi Province for tourists, students,  and the general public learned to study the physiological structure and appreciate the value of wild elephants. By moving it was courtesy of a moving truck from the National Elephant Institute, Lampang. 

ร่วมประชุมติดตามปัญหาช้างออกนอกพื้นที่

เมื่อวันที่ 23 มกราคม 2566 รศ.น.สพ.ดร.ฉัตรโชติ ทิตาราม,ผศ.น.สพ.ดร.เฉลิมชาติ สมเกิดและ น.สพ.ดร.ทวีโภค อังควานิช กรรมการมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ พร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่ประสานงาน ได้เข้าร่วมประชุมแก้ไขปัญหาช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ร่วมกับ เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าดอยผาเมือง

ต้อนสีดอสุทัศน์กลับเข้าป่าสำเร็จ

เวลาประมาณ 03.45 น. ของเช้าวันที่ 25 มกราคม 2566 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ และเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ได้ติดตามตัวและผลักดันให้สีดอสุทัศน์กลับเข้าป่าได้สำเร็จ โดยหลังจากที่สีดอสุทัศน์กลับเข้าป่าไปแล้ว เจ้าหน้าที่จึงช่วยกับซ่อมแซมม่านโซ่และเสริมเส้นลวดรั้วไฟฟ้าตรงจุดที่มีปัญหาเพื่อป้องกันช้างออกมาทางม่านโซ่อีก (ม่านโซ่รั้วไฟฟ้าติดตั้งบริเวณที่รั้วไฟฟ้าพาดผ่านลำคลองหรือลำธาร)

At about 3.45 am on the morning of January 25, 2023, the foundation field staff and forest rangers, Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary  tracked down and successfully pushed Sidor Suthas back into the forest. After Sido Suthas returned to the forest The staff then helped to repair the chain curtain and reinforced the electric fence wire at the troubled spot to prevent the elephants coming out through the chain curtain again. (Electric fence chain curtain installed at the area where the electric fence passes through a canal or stream).
