กลุ่มจารุณี ออกนอกรั้วไฟฟ้า

วันที่ 3 กรกฎาคม 2567 มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติภาคสนามลพบุรีร่วมกับ เจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยหนองใหญ่ รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านน้ำลาด ต.นายางกลัก อ.เทพสถิต จ.ชัยภูมิ ว่าพบร่องรอยช้างป่า (กลุ่มช้างพังจารุณี จำนวน 9 ตัว ) ออกมาหากินพืชไร่ของชาวบ้านสะพานหิน เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามหน่วยหนองใหญ่ จึงสำรวจความเสียหาย เป็นมันสัมปะหลัง ประมาณ 1 ไร่ ขณะนี้เจ้าหน้าที่ มูลนิธิช้างได้ติดตามช้างป่า กลุ่มจารุณี มาทางเขาพังเหยฝั่งทิศตะวันตก ม.12 บ.เหวนางคำ ต.วังทอง อ.ภักดีชุมพล จ.ชัยภูมิ เวลา 20.00 น. จนท.มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ร่วมกับ จนท.นพป. ต้นน้ำลำสนธิ จึงเข้าช่วยเฝ้าระวังช้างป่าออกนอกพื้นที่อนุรักษ์ ที่บ้านน้ำตกเหวนางคำ 

On July 3, 2024, our Lopburi field staff together with forest ranger, Nong Yai unit Received notification from Nam Lat villagers, Na Yang Klak Subdistrict, Thep Sathit District, Chaiyaphum Province, that traces of wild elephants were found. (A group of 9 Pangjarunee elephants) came out to eat the crops of Saphan Hin villagers. Field staff, Nong Yai Unit survey the damage. It is about 1 rai of cassava. Currently, the staff followed wild elephants,  Jarunee's group to the west side of Khao Phang Hoei, Village No. 12, Heo Nang Kham Village, Wang Thong Subdistrict, Phakdee Chumphon District, Chaiyaphum Province at 8:00 p.m., staff of the Foundation together with rangers from the Lam Sonthi upstream area helped monitor wild elephants leaving the conservation area at Ban Haew Nang Kham.
