พบช้างพังคำดี

วันที่ 18 มิถุนายน 2569 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้ติดตามช้างไปตามแนวลำห้วยแม่ป๋อน จากนั้นเดินขึ้นสู่บริเวณสันสูงและติดตามเส้นทางต่อไปจนถึงบริเวณสันทหารฝั่งน้ำแม่ใน ระหว่างทางพบช้างพังคำดีอยู่เพียงตัวเดียว โดยใช้พื้นที่หากินและพักอยู่ในบริเวณดังกล่าวอย่างสงบ ไม่พบช้างตัวอื่นอยู่ร่วมในขณะเข้าตรวจติดตาม

On June 18, 2026, field staff from the foundation tracked the elephant along the Mae Pon Creek, then ascended to a higher ridge and continued along the path to the embankment on the Mae Nai River bank. Along the way, they found only one female elephant, Khamdee, peacefully foraging and resting in the area. No other elephants were seen with her during the tracking.
