งานเฝ้าระวังช้าง ด้านตำบลกุดตาเพชร

เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ร่วมกับเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ได้เฝ้าระวังช้างให้กับชาวบ้านในตำบลกุดตาเพชรร่วมกัน เนื่องจากโขลงพังพรธิตายังคงออกมาที่ไร่ของชาวบ้านอยู่เสมอ เจ้าหน้าที่จึงต้องช่วยกันเฝ้าระวัง ติดตามและผลักดันอย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยวันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้รายงานว่าช้างได้มาทางด้านบ้านหนองปล้อง

Field staff from the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation, in collaboration with the Subangka Wildlife Sanctuary, have been monitoring elephants for villagers in Kut Ta Phet sub-district This is because a herd of female elephants, Pang Ponthita, continues to frequent villagers' farms. The staff are therefore working together to continuously monitor, track, and push the elephants back. On May 19th, field staffs reported that the elephants had arrived from the direction of Ban Nong Plong.
