พลายฉลาดเช็คพื้นที่

วันที่ 4 สิงหาคม 2568  เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาได้รับแจ้งว่ามีช้างออกมาที่ไร่ป้าเมตตา และลุงดม ข้างแนวแเขตป่าซับลังกา มีรอยกินอ้อยและกล้วยเมื่อแกะรอยไป พบว่าช้างได้ล้มต้นไม้เพื่อออกนอกพื้นที่ ซึ่งจากรอยพบว่าคือพลายฉลาด เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้ช่วยกันเฝ้าระวังให้กับชาวบ้านในคืนถัดมา

On August 4, 2025, our Lopburi field staff , together with rangers from the Sublangka Wildlife Sanctuary, received a report that an elephant had come out to Aunt Metta and Uncle Dom's farm, next to the Sublangka forest boundary. There were traces of eating sugarcane and bananas. When they followed the tracks, they found that the elephant had cut down a tree to leave the area. From the traces, it was discovered that it was Plai Chalat. The staffs therefore helped keep watch for the villagers the following night.
