หลังจากที่สีดอโอเลี้ยงติดใจการออกเที่ยวเล่นนอกป่าซับลังกาโดยการช่วยเหลือพาหนีเที่ยวของพลายฉลาดอยู่หลายครั้ง เมื่อวันที่ 9 ตุลาคม 2564 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามพร้อมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาหน่วยพิทักษ์ป่าหนองใหญ่ได้ช่วยกันจับสีดอโอเลี้ยง แล้วมัดไว้ที่ไร่ของชาวบ้าน ในบริเวณที่มีน้ำและอาหารเพียงพอ (เจ้าของไร่ใจดีอนุญาตให้ใช้พื้นที่ชั่วคราว) ระหว่างนี้เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามจะเข้าทำการตรวจเช็คคอกรั้วไฟฟ้า 5 ไร่ และตัดหญ้าที่ขึ้นสูงตามแนวรั้วไฟฟ้า แล้วจึงจะนำสีดอโอเลี้ยงไปอาศัยอยู่ในคอกนี้เพื่อปรับพฤติกรรมอีกครั้ง
