พลายฉลาด

บ่ายวันที่ 12 กันยายน 2564 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้รับแจ้งว่า รั้วไฟฟ้าด้านโคกกรวดช่วงระหว่างตู้ควบคุมไฟที่ 1 และ 2 เสียหาย จึงเข้าตรวจสอบพบว่า เป็นรอยของพลายฉลาด โดยช้างได้นำท่อนไม้ขนาดใหญ่หลายท่อนมาพาดสายรั้วไฟฟ้าจนรั้วเสียหาย และพบรอยช้างกลุ่มพังพรธิตาได้ตามออกมาตรงช่วงบริเวณนี้ด้วยแต่ช้างกลุ่มพรธิตาไม่ได้ออกนอกรั้ว มีเพียงพลายฉลาดตัวเดียวที่ออกมายังไร่ข้าวโพดของชาวบ้านแต่ไม่เสียหายมากนัก ขณะนี้พลายฉลาดได้กลับเข้าป่าไปแล้ว เจ้าหน้าที่จึงช่วยกันยกท่อนไม้ที่ช้างนำมาพาดรั้วไฟฟ้าออก และซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้าให้สามารถใช้งานได้ตามปกติ

The elephant had brought several large logs to draped over the electric fence until the fence was damaged. Only Plai Chalard came out to the villagers' corn fields without much damage. Plai Chalard had now returned to the forest.
