ช้างโขลงพังพรธิตามาไร่บ้านวังเชื่อม

คืนวันที่ 5 พฤษภาคม 2568 ช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ เช้าวันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม  จึงได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านว่ามีช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ด้านวังเชื่อมฝั่งตะวันตก และได้ทำจุดป้องกันไฟเสียหาย เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามและเจ้าหน้าที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาหน่วยห้วยประดู่จึงได้ช่วยกันเฝ้าระวังและลาดตะเวนในคืนนั้นพบว่าเป็นช้างโขลงพังพรธิตา ประมาณ 8-9 ตัวได้ออกมากินกล้วย อ้อยและมันสำปะหลังของชาวบ้านวังเชื่อม เมื่อเจ้าหน้าที่เข้าผลักดัน ช้างได้แยกเป็น2 กลุ่ม มีกลุ่มนึงได้ย้อนมามาหากินพืชไร่ของอีกเจ้าในช่วงใกล้เช้า แล้วมุ่งหน้าไปทางจุดสกัดดงตะเคียน 

On the night of May 5, 2025, the elephants left the area. On the morning of May 6, the villagers were notified that elephants had left the area on the west side of Wang Chueam and had damaged the fire protection point. Field staffs and rangers from the Sap Langka Wildlife Sanctuary, Huai Pradu Unit, helped to keep watch and patrol that night. They found that it was a herd of elephants, Ms. Phrathita, about 8-9 of them, that had come out to eat bananas, sugarcane, and cassava of the villagers of Wang Chueam. When the staffs pushed them back, the elephants split into 2 groups. One group had come back to eat the crops of another group in the early morning and headed towards the Dong Takhian checkpoint.
