ติดตามโขลงพังพรธิตากลับเข้าป่า

คืนวันที่ 22 เมษายน 2568 เวลาประมาณ 21.30 น. เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนาามลพบุรีประจำหน่วยสำนักงานเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา ได้รับแจ้งจากชาวบ้านว่าพบช้างที่บ้านหนองปล้อง ซึ่งอยู่ทางทิศใต้ของเขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกาประมาณ 8 กิโลเมตร เจ้าหน้าที่ได้เข้าตรวจสอบพบว่าเป็นโขลงของพังพรธิตา ซึ่งช้างได้เดินเรื่อยมาจนถึงบ้านหนองปล้อง และบ้านหินลาว ได้กินมะม่วงและอ้อยของชาวบ้าน เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามได้จุดประทัดไล่ต้อน แต่ช้างยังไม่ยอมกลับ เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้กลับไปเตรียมพร้อมเพื่อจะเฝ้าระวังและติดตามช้างต่อในพื้นที่ต่อไป

On the night of April 22, 2025 at approximately 9:30 p.m., our Lopburi field staff received a report from villagers that elephants had been found at Ban Nong Plong, which is approximately 8 kilometers south of the Sap Langka Wildlife Sanctuary. The staff went to investigate and found that it was a herd belonging to Pang Pornthita. The elephants had continued to walk to Ban Nong Plong and Ban Hin Lao and had eaten the villagers’ mangoes and sugarcane. Field staffs lit firecrackers to drive them away, but the elephants refused to leave. The staffs therefore returned to prepare to continue monitoring and tracking the elephants in the area.
