ตรวจสอบพื้นที่แนวรั้วไฟฟ้า

31 กรกฏาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรีได้รับแจ้งจากวัดเขาประตูชุมพลว่ามีชาวบ้านที่หาเห็ดเจอรอยช้างอยู่นอกรั้วแถวบ่อปู่สวรรค์ เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติและเจ้าหน้าที่เขตพิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยหนองใหญ่จึงได้เข้าตรวจสอบพื้นที่ ตรงจุดที่ชาวบ้านแจ้งว่าได้พบรอยช้าง แต่ไม่มีรอยช้างออกมานอกรั้ว จึงได้เดินตรวจรอยช้างตามแนวรั้ว ตั้งแต่สุดแผ่นดินลงมาถึงวัดเขาประตูชุมพล โดยรั้วไฟฟ้าทำงานได้ปกติ

On July 31, 2024, our field staff at Lopburi Province were notified by Wat Khao Pratu Chumphon that villagers who were looking for mushrooms had found elephant tracks outside the fence near Bo Pu Sawan. The Foundation field staff and rangers of Nong Yai Forest Protection Unit therefore went to inspect the area at the point where the villagers reported finding elephant tracks, but there were no elephant tracks outside the fence. They therefore walked to inspect the elephant tracks along the fence, from the end of the land down to Wat Khao Pratu Chumphon, by the electric fence was working normally.
