กลุ่มโดเรมีและลูกน้อย

 วันที่ 9 มกราคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ จังหวัดลพบุรีร่วมด้วยเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยต้นน้ำ ออกตรวจพื้นที่และสำรวจบริเวณซับหวาย พบช้างกลุ่มพังเดือนและพังโดเรมีและลูกๆ มาลงเล่นน้ำและกินโป่ง กลุ่มนี้มี 7 ตัว อีก 6 ตัวอยู่ในป่าและมีช้างที่อาศัยตามลำพังตัวเดียวอยู่ฝั่งตะวันออกของป่า แถวคลองไซ ซึ่งช่วงนี้ช้างเริ่มลงมาหาน้ำตามสระที่ขุดไว้ เนื่องจากน้ำตามลำธารเริ่มแห้งและขาดสายเป็นบางช่วง

January 9, 2024, our field staffs of Lopburi Province joins with forest rangers from the upstream unit to inspect the area and explore Sub Wai area. Found a group of elephants, Pang Duean and Pang Doremi and their children. They came to play in the water and eat salt lick. There were 7 of them in this group, the other 6 were in the forest and there was only one elephant that lived alone on the eastern side of the forest, around Khlong Sai. During this time, the elephants began to come down to the pond to find water. This is because the water along the creek has begun to dry up and become  intermittent.
