ตามจับพลายฉลาด

วันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม 2564 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิฯ และคณะเดินเท้าสำรวจจากบริเวณด้านหลังบ้านที่พบช้างในวันก่อน เดินลึกเข้าไปในป่าได้พบกับตัวช้างแล้ว แต่เมื่อช้างเห็นเจ้าหน้าที่จึงหนีขึ้นเขาพังเหยไปอีก  คณะติดตามช้าง ได้ติดตามจนพลบค่ำ แล้วจึงวางแผนขึ้นไปดักที่หน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานแห่งชาติ ทท5. คลองชัย

ในวันที่ 7 พฤษภาคม 2564 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิฯ เจ้าหน้าที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตว์ป่าซับลังกา  เจ้าหน้าที่ป่าไม้หน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานแห่งชาติ ทท5. คลองชัย และ เจ้าหน้าที่ป่าไม้หน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานแห่งชาติไทรทอง ร่วมกันติดตามช้างบนเขาพังเหย ตามรอยช้างจากหน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานแห่งชาติคลองชัย ต.บ้านเจียงไปยังตำบลแหลมทอง ซึ่งล่าสุดยังคงตามจับพลายฉลาดที่หนีออกมาจากป่าซับลังกาไม่ได้

On May 6, 2021, the Foundation field staff and tracking team walked to explore from the back of the house where the elephants were found the previous day. They were walking deep into the forest,  found an elephant already. But when the elephants saw the staffs, the elephant fled up the mountain again. Elephant tracking team followed until dusk then plan to go to the trap at the National Park Protection Unit 5. Klongchai.

On May 7, 2021, the Foundation staff Sublanga Wildlife Sanctuary Official Forest Officer, National Park Protection Unit 5. Klong Chai and Forest Officer Sai Thong National Park Protection Unit together to track the elephants on the cliff. By following the elephant's footsteps from the Khlong Chai National Park Protection Unit Ban Chiang Subdistrict to Laem Thong Subdistrict. Which is the latest situation still can not catch up Plai Chalard the elephant who escape from Sublangka Forest.
