เมื่อวันที่ 20 กันยายน 2563 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี ติดตามช้างกลุ่มพังจารุณีในป่าซับลังกาเพื่อตรวจดูความเรียบร้อยและสุขภาพช้าง แต่ยังไม่พบกลุ่มช้างแต่อย่างใด
