Pang Kam Moon is reintroduced by Khun Photipong Lamsam

On the special occasion of his 72nd birthday, Khun Photipong Lamsam has released Pang Kam Moon in a reintroduction ceremony at the Sublanka Wildlife Sanctuary under the auspices of the Elephant Reintroduction Foundation. The release of captive animal is a traditional merit making act that Thai people perform on special occasions, such as birthdays. Normally birds, fish, turtles, and even cattle are released in this merit making act. The release of an elephant represents the highest level of this type of merit making because the elephant is the largest terrestial animal. ในโอกาสพิเศษที่เป็นวันเกิดครบรอบ 72 ปีของคุณโพธิพงษ์  ล่ำซำ ท่านได้ทำบุญบริจาคช้าง(พังแม่คำมูล) เพื่อปล่อยคืนสู่ธรรมชาติ ที่เขตรักษาพันธุ์สัตวป่าซับลังกา การปล่อยสัตว์ เช่น นก ปลา เต่า เป็นการทำบุญอย่างหนึ่งที่มีมาช้านานแล้ว แต่การทำบุญปล่อยช้างนี้ถือเป็นกุศลใหญ่เพราะช้างถือเป็นสัตว์บกที่ใหญ่ที่สุด
