เร่งผลักดันช้างกลับเข้าป่า

วันที่ 28 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี แคมป์หนองใหญ่ และแคมป์ต้นน้ำ และ จนท.ขสป หน่วยหนองใหญ่ร่วมกัน ติดตามผลักดันช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ ที่บ้านดินกับบ้านน้ำลาด จนท.ได้ผลักดันช้างเข้าหารั้ว แต่ช้างเดินวนไปมาแล้ววิ่งเข้าใส่ จนท. แล้วช้างได้วนกลับไปฝั่งเขตป่าบ้านเทพนา ยังไม่เข้าพื้นที่

On May 28, 2024, our field staff Lopburi Province Nong Yai Camp and the upstream camp and forest rangers from the Nong Yai unit jointly followed up and pushed the elephants out of the area at Ban Din and Ban Nam Lat. The staff pushed the elephant back into the fence. But the elephant walked around and ran to the staff. The elephant then circled back to the Ban Thepna forest area. Haven't entered the area yet.

เฝ้าระวังต่อเนื่อง แนวรั้วบ้านน้ำลาด

วันที่ 27 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ ประจำจังหวัดลพบุรี แคมป์ต้นน้ำได้ขึ้นมาช่วยแคมป์หนองใหญ่สำรวจและเฝ้าระวังช้าง เจ้าหน้าที่ได้สำรวจรอยช้างพบยังไม่กลับ และยังอยู่ในป่าเขตอุทยานแห่งชาติป่าหินงามระหว่างบ้านเทพพนาและบ้านน้ำลาด จากการสำรวจช้างได้ย้อนกลับเข้าป่าอุทยานแห่งชาติป่าหินงามที่เดิม เมื่อคืนช้างจะออกไปกินขนุน เจ้าหน้าที่พบเสียก่อน ช้างจึงวิ่งกลับเข้าป่า ส่วนเจ้าหน้าที่หน่วยต้นน้ำอยู่จุดกระท่อมที่บ้านน้ำลาด คืนนี้จะเฝ้าตามกระท่อมที่มีพืชผลการเกษตรที่ช้างชอบกิน

On May 27, 2024, our field staff at Lopburi Province, The upstream camp came up to help the Nong Yai camp survey and monitor elephants. The staff surveyed the elephant's tracks and found that it had not yet returned. It is also in the forest area of ​​Pa Hin Ngam National Park between Ban Theppana and Ban Nam Lat. From the survey, the elephants returned to the Pa Hin Ngam National Park forest at the same place. Last night the elephants went out to eat jackfruit. The staff found it first so the elephant then ran back into the forest. As for the upstream unit staff, they are at the hut at Ban Nam Lat. Tonight, he will watch over a hut that has agricultural produce that the elephants like to eat.

สีดอสุทัศน์ออกเที่ยว

วันที่ 25 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่พิทักษ์ป่าหน่วยหนองใหญ่ได้ออกติดตามและนอนเฝ้าระวังช้าง โดยแบ่งเจ้าหน้าที่ออกเป็นจุดๆ เวลาประมาณ 6 โมงเย็น ช้างออกจากป่ามายังกลางไร่ของชาวบ้าน ผลักดันให้ช้างกลับเข้าป่า พอเวลาประมาณ ตี 2 ช้างได้ออกมาอีกครั้งเดินตามทางจะมาหากินขนุน เจ้าหน้าที่จึงผลักดัน โดยช้างที่ออกเป็นสีดอสุทัศน์ ช่วงเช้าเจ้าหน้าที่ออกสำรวจอีกครั้งพบว่าช้างยังไม่กลับเข้าพื้นที่ยังอยุ่ในป่าเขตอุทยานป่าหินงาม บ้านน้ำลาด และบ้านหนองใหญ่ เนื่องจากช้างติดใจขนุนมะม่วงตามสวนของชาวบ้าน

On May 25, 2024 Foundation field staff Together with the forest rangers of the Nong Yai unit went out to track and keep watch over the elephants. By dividing the staff into different areas, around 6 p.m., the elephant came out of the forest and into the middle of a villager's farm. At around 2:00 a.m., the elephant came out again, following the path to find food for jackfruit. The staff therefore fetched  the elephant that turned out to be Sidor Suthat. In the morning, the staff surveyed again and found that the elephants had not yet returned to the area and were still in the forest in the areas of Pa Hin Ngam National Park, Ban Nam Lat and Ban Nong Yai. This is because elephants are attracted to jackfruit and mangoes in villagers' gardens.

ซ่อมแซมห้องน้ำ สุสานหมู่บ้านสวนป่าทุ่งเกวียน

วันที่ 21 พฤษภาคม 2567 มูลนิธิฯ ได้ซ่อมแซมห้องน้ำบริเวณ สุสานหมู่บ้านสวนป่าทุ่งเกวียน

On May 21, 2024, the Foundation repaired the bathrooms in the area Suan Pa Thung Kwian Village Cemetery.

เข้าซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้าอีกครั้ง

วันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ได้เข้าซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้าอีกครั้ง หลังเมื่อ 2 วันก่อนได้เข้าซ่อมแซม ขณะนี้ จ.ลำปางมีฝนตกชุก จึงทำให้การเข้าพื้นที่มีความยากลำบาก

On May 23, 2024 Foundation field staff come to restore electric fence again. At this time, Lampang province has a lot of rain. therefore entering the area is difficult.

ทดลองปล่อยพี่โอเลี้ยง

วันที่ 20 - 22 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯได้ทำการทดลองปล่อยช้างผูกปรับพฤติกรรม สีดอโอเลี้ยง เนื่องจากได้ปรับพฤติกรรมได้ระยะหนึ่งเเล้ว ทางสัตวแพทย์ที่ปรึกษามูลนิธิฯได้ให้ความเห็นว่าสามารถทดลองปล่อยได้ เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้ทดลองปล่อยสีดอโอเลี้ยง หลังมีฝนตกเนื่องจากให้มีอาหารของช้างมากขึ้น

On 20 - 22 May 2024 Foundation field staff test releasing the elephant Sidor O-Lieng because he had rehabilitative for a while. The veterinarian consultant of  the foundation gave the opinion that it could be experimentally released. The staff therefore release Sidor O-lieng to free loam. After the rain, there was more food for the elephants.

ซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้า บริเวณจุดสกัดช้างแม่เลียงพัฒนา

เมื่อวันที่ 18 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ จ.ลำปาง ได้เข้าพื้นที่เพื่อซ่อมแซมรั้วไฟฟ้า เพื่อป้องกันช้างออกนอกพื้นที่ บริเวณจุดสกัดช้าง แม่เลียงพัฒนา 

On May 18, 2024, the Foundation's field staff in Lampang Province repaired sufficiency electric fence to prevent elephants from leaving the area at elephant extraction point Mae Liang Phatthana.

เนื่องจากช่วงนี้ฝนตกบ่อยครั้ง เมื่อเข้าพื้นที่รถยนต์ของมูลนิธิฯ จึงเกิดการติดหล่มในการเข้าพื้นที่

สำรวจร่องรอยช้างออก บ้านน้ำลาด

วันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ จังหวัดลพบุรี ชุดที่ 2 แคมป์หนองใหญ่ ออกติดตามช้างและผลักดัน  ที่บ้านน้ำลาด สำรวจร่องรอย แต่ไม่สามารถติดตามช้างได้ทัน โดยช้างได้เดินวนไปมา แล้วย้อนกลับไปที่เก่า

On May 23, 2024, our field staff Lopburi Province, Set 2, Nong Yai Camp go out and track the elephants and push themat Ban Nam Lad, they surveyed the tracks but were unable to track the elephant in time. The elephants walked around then go back to the old place.

สำรวจแนวรั้วเส้นบ้านเทพนา-บ้านน้ำลาด

วันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม 2567  เจ้าหน้าที่มูลนิธิคืนช้างสู่ธรรมชาติ จังหวัดลพบุรี แคมป์หนองใหญ่ แบ่งออกเป็น 2 ชุด แยกออกตรวจสอบแนวรั้วไฟฟ้าแบบพอเพียงและติดตามผลักดันช้าง แกะรอยตลอดแนวจากบ้านเทพนาจนถึงบ้านน้ำลาด

On May 23, 2024, our field staff Lopburi Province Nong Yai Camp is divided into 2 sets, separated to inspect sufficiency electric fence and to follow and push back elephants, tracing the entire line from Ban Thep Na to Ban Nam Lat.

เฝ้าระวังช้างภูพาน

วันที่ 19 พฤษภาคม 2567 เจ้าหน้าที่ภาคสนามมูลนิธิฯ ประจำจังหวัดสกลนคร ได้รับแจ้งว่ามีช้างออกที่วัดถ้ำศรีแก้วซึ่งอยู่ติดกับป่า โดยทำท่อน้ำประปาของวัดเสียหาย เจ้าหน้าที่จึงได้เฝ้าระวัง และซ่อมแซมท่อให้กับทางวัดร่วมกับเจ้าหน้าที่อุทยานแห่งชาติภูพาน

On May 19, 2024 Foundation field staff Sakon Nakhon Province were informed that there are elephants at Tham Sri Kaew Temple, which is next to the forest. The elephant damaged the temple's water pipes So the staff were on the survey and repair pipes for the temple together with Phu Phan National Park' s rangers.
